Device feasibility probe

Synthetic-only test. This standalone page does not ask for health information and is not part of the tracker.

Browser results are not iPhone evidence. Desktop, simulator, and Playwright results cannot establish iPhone or Home Screen support. Real-device checks and the limitations in the README are still required.

Camera, notification, file picker, and passkey actions happen only after you choose their controls below. Nothing requests those permissions at startup.

Capability results

  1. Storage persistence and IndexedDB

    Untested

Run the check to request persistence, inspect the approximate quota, and write then reopen a synthetic marker.

  2. Synthetic file export and re-import

    Untested

Share or download synthetic .json, .csv, and .flobak fixtures, then choose one to re-import.

  3. Camera QR scan

    Untested

Use the explicit camera control, then scan the synthetic QR shown here from another screen. Camera permission is not requested until you start.

  4. Optional preview push test

    Untested

No push permission is requested unless you press the test button. A delivered notification must be confirmed by you.

No account, enrollment secret, or other credential is requested or handled by this page. The approved preview endpoint and its public VAPID key must be supplied before this control becomes available.

  5. Passkey PRF and offline retry

    Untested

This creates a synthetic test passkey in your authenticator; the browser does not provide a web page method to delete it. No PRF output or credential identifier is saved by this page.

  6. PBKDF2-SHA-256, 600,000 iterations

    Untested

Measures one local synthetic derivation. The derived bits are discarded; this does not change or lower the planned iteration count.
